Slagging on Pitti
This time of year the two dominant themes on my dash are Pitti and slagging on Pitti. I’m not there, so I obviously must do the latter.
My first thought: the horizontal space between the buttons on DBs have gotten far too narrow. I liked the slight narrowing that started to show up last year, but the trend has already jumped the shark.
That said, I like seeing trends go too far - overly narrow lapels, overly large patch pockets, overly short jackets, … - because it helps me zero in on what I like.
