At 35, I've been (mostly) dressing like an adult for almost two years.
I finally got to see Refused last night. My 21 year old self is very pleased with me.
They played this song, Tannhäuser/Derivè, to close out the show. It was perfect.
At 35, I was definitely in the upper end of the attending demographic, which surprised the hell out of me. I thought the crowd would be primarily nostalgic 30/40-somethings. I’m glad the band has all these younger fans, but it does make me ask: who are the Refuseds of today?
