Sorry to hear that. I know I own a few things that it would bother me if I lost them, despite my self-imposed injunction not to allow that to happen. Unfortunately, thrifters and eBayers are not immune. When you have a beautiful Oxxford suit, whether bought new or second-hand, can you do otherwise than tear up on finding large moth hole in the sleeve? 

That said, I’d certainly be much more upset if I dropped four figures on the suit than if I’d snagged it for two at the Value Village.
